I never use Milk never have done as i dont see the point, i have never been in such a rush to put weight on that i need the added Cals milk gives you(5g of sugar per 100ml)

![]() | Re: water or milk???? Post workout shakes use water. Mainly becusae milk gels in your stomach and is therefore not soaked through the stomach wall very fast. If it is more of a meal supplement or you are just drinking it for the hell of it, use milk, it tastes better and will take longer to enter the system providing a timed relaease aspect to the protein.

| Thor "The Hammer" | Re: water or milk???? I dont have a good body like most people here but I use skimmed milk with mine always! Tried water once and nearly threw up :( I drink 3-4 shakes a day so thats 1000ml of skimmed milk I consume a day. Wow thats a lot of milk! |
