A lot of bbers use fish and white basmati rice in the last few weeks pre contest. White fish like cod is just pure protein and basmati rice will give a small insulin spike when eaten and be absorbed quite fast. If you look at the 2006 BFTO video Jay Cutler eats this meal PWO. I also remember reading an article where one of the older bbers talked about leaving 45 minutes before he consumed anything PWO to allow the blood flow and HR to return to normal so that the meal would be absorbed fully. Whey and the 45 minute PWO window have been so severly over marketed that it can be confusing. As long as you eat a meal rich in protein and carbs PWO you should be fine. Maybe not optimal for growth but we are talking maybe a 5-10% less efficiency here which certainly wont damage you in the short term while you wait for your whey.

This board is for learning not flaming. Please do not speak to other board members like this. Just because someone has asked what you consider to be a stupid question doesnt mean they deserve to be ridiculed. Maybe if you explained that chicken eggs and whey are all complete proteins and so the difference in PWO consumption of these nutrients is no different at a basic level then that would be more helpful. Not everyone on the board has your knowledge level. You have a lot to offer the members of the board and I welcome your input but board rules specifically state no flaming. Thanks
