![]() | Unflavoured Whey I received my order from mtprotein yesterday; I ordered a kilo of unflavoured whey (thank god only 1kg). I know some people can handle the taste of the unflavoured but not me; each time i've had to drink it very quickly and have some food straight afterwards without trying taste the shake. I was considering purchasing some black star labs (i think) from myprotein to flavour it and just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this product. I used to buy PVL Cooler and loved the stuff, but I was going through a tub in about 12 days and haven't got the money. I am thinking about purchasing some Reflex Instant Whey Fruit Punch of body-activeonline (£35 for 2.2kg) this should do me for a month, as anyone ever tried this product. Any recomendadtions would be appreicated |

If I were you and I dod not like the taste I would add anything I got my hands on, squash and things like that. I do beleive that some of the online protein sellers make and sell flavouring systems. That maybe the cheapest option. Had an after thought and edited post. Why not buy a regular 'off the shelf' protein powder and just add it into the unflavoursed stuff. Hey presto - sorted!!!!

I might try some adding the unflavoured whey with some Ribena Light and see how that goes. | |

![]() | Re: Unflavoured Whey Blend a banana into it. I bought H&B Strawberry (yes i know it's flavoured but tastes rotten) once and the only way i could take it was to blend a ripe banana into it. Since then i've done it with all my morning and post workout shakes. Tasty. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Unflavoured Whey Tesco sells 6 frozen fruit packs for something lime £1.40. Why not try adding them to your unflavoured protein powder and blend it up. Lots of gyms are now doing this to better the taste of proteins, and it will also increase your fruit intake, which can only be good. And you get an ice cold shake. |
