![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Protein shakes... I have got whey protein concentrate from myprotein.com which i have been taking for about a month and a half now. I was just wondering how much milk should i mix with it? What i usually do is mix about 4 tablespoons with a pint of skimmed milk, but i think this could be way too much milk. What do you think? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Protein shakes... in my opinion Milk is a bad idea with any shake no matter the time of day, you have 5g or simple sugars per 100ml most guys do not count these extra simple carbs or the extra protein/fats....most use the excuse of bulking or taste but in my opinion if your protein shake needs milk to make it taste good then swap the bloody brand and their are better ways to add extra bulking cals without the simple sugars like peanut butter or oats....

Milk with Oats is fine i suppose but again i don't see why you would not use Hot water from the kettle and stir it in with a cpl of scoops of protein you can add Nuts or fruit to add calories..... the only place i have milk is in coffee i like milk but don't see where it fits in but its great for babies ![]()
