Re: Muscle Spasm

IF ITS BENCH OR FLY'S KEEP YOUR HEAD IN CONECTION WITH THE BENCH AT ALL TIMES , IT COULD BE A STRAIN ON THE NECK.

IF ITS PECK DECK (MACHINE ) ALSO KEEP HEAD AGAINSED PADING. THERE SHOULD BE LOADS OF TECHNIQUE GUIDES ON HERE. ALSO IF IT CONTINUES TO HURT DROP THE WEIGHT MATE INCASE YOU CAUSE FURTHER PROBLEMS, GET THE TECHNIQUE CORRECT FIRST.

Re: Muscle Spasm

When using the Cable machine with rope extension..

Excerise: Tricep Pull Down

I dont know if its over staining or what?

But you need to strain some times to get the last few reps done.. its not ment to be easy..

Its strange.. Also started to happen on the pec deck!

Any ideas?

Re: Muscle Spasm

peck deck , keep your bottom right back and your head against the back cushion, i had this many years ago (used to call it the deadree machine (deadry barlow neck - corrination street) concerntrate on only straining the pecs or triceps mate (think about the contraction on the muscle and not straighning from the neck) try it on a lighter weight first - learn to feel the contractions then increase the weight, if the straighn is still in the neck - go lighter again

Re: Muscle Spasm

Maybe a trapped nerve, try stretching exercises or localised massage.
