hit on the nose= colds - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

why is it everytime when i box and take a heavy hit to the nose i catch a cold the following day? This isn't the first time its happened. Is there any science behide this?

Any cold virus that is in the nasel cavity will have a field day at the compromise of the body's defenses. You've shocked your body and it is responding to repair the damage.

You will have a runny nose and crusty dried blood nose. It is like any other wound to the body, it will have infection and the body will respond to that infection in the same way.
