am i corect on thinking i can take my humalog at 4-5pm - UK-Muscle Body Building Community

as above am i corrrect in thinking humalog will have cleared my system in 5hrs so if i take at say 5pm il be fine in going to bed at 11pm?i understand the onset is 30-60mins ,peak 1-2hrs and clearance 5hrs.just want to make sure this is all ok before i start.il be starting on 2ius with 4ius gh post workout ,mon,wed,fri and will be using 10grams carbs per iu in ashake straight after jab and a solid meal 1hr later .thanks

If your taking it with GH then I wouldn't worry, you can have your meal then fvck off to bed, Ive done the same although some will shreik in horror and managed to rise the next day. If your taking it on its own then its a different ball game.

ok mate ,another thing-ive got a humalog cartridge but no pen so is it ok to just stick the pin in the end and use that way?

Shouldn't be a problem - provided you're using an insulin syringe graduated in international units (IU)

as Punk Floyd said, I use them aswell, I just do what you suggested, works a treat, don't pump air into them though, it once nearly shot the fvckin plug out when I accidentally did it.....
