Growth Hormone

Hello,

I am a final year student at the University of Nottingham studying Biochemistry and I am currently undertaking a research project in the increase of the use of growth hormone in sport and its suitability and effectiveness as a sports aid. I am also a semi-professional MMA fighter and I have taken in interest in this topic because of the rumored use of it in combat sports.

If you have any experience with the use of growth hormone in sport (Including Bodybuilding) it would greatly assist my research if you could answer a few questions (as honestly as possible), and as fully as you are able to. Everything in the project will be kept completely anonymous and strictly confidential; I just need to get some first-hand opinions and figures. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
1.What do you understand to be the benefits of growth hormone?
2.What do you understand to be the negative effects of growth hormone?
3.What gains did you make, if any? (If possible any figures (weight increase kg) would be much appreciated but general comments are also).
4. How much growth hormone did you do? i.e. the dose (in I/u please) and for how long (If you have done it more than once please give details of this.)
5. When doing growth did you stack it with anabolic steroids and if so which ones?
6.
What sport were you taking growth hormone for?.

I would be thankful for any comments or general observations regarding the use of growth hormone in sport. Thank you for your time.

Re: Growth Hormone

Are you looking at the natural ways that we are trying to increase GH output also, such as Arginine/Ornithine supplementation?

Re: Growth Hormone

hi mate,

i have used gh several times, the benefits and negative effects have been well documented on loads of sites on the internet, however i will let you know my first hand experience of the benefits and negative effects on myself.

I have stacked gh with insulin and a heavy anabolic steroid course in the past and made some considerable weight gains, however i attributed the weight gains due mainly to the aas and insulin was only taking 2iu gh twice a day on training days tho for around 6 weeks. that was a long time ago tho.

these days i usually do 4iu after training at least 4 nights a week, would like to do every day if could afford it or obtain it regularly.

What i use gh for mostly these days is in between steroid cycles to try and maintain my size and stay leanish without having to be to regimented with my diet, weekdays are fine but i struggle at weekends due to the amount of partying i do etc.

Anway benefits i see myself from a dose of 4iu min 4times a week are

1) leaner and more vascular (especially around abdominal area where i inject it)
2) skin seems tighter and more smooth (face looks younger i think lol)
3) feeling of well being, more energy
4) cuts and bruises seem to heal quicker
5) hair grows quicker (poss not benefit due to amount of razors i go thro)

all above effects seem more pronounced when i do a course of trenbolone (300mg week) and primobolan (300mg wk) i dont really do testosterones any more as i dont like the bloaty face it gives me, just use the gear for a little boost.

negative effects are

1) swollen fingers and some joint pain ( altho not had this for a while now??)
2) sometimes get cold sweats at night and disrupted sleep patterns

These are just my personal experiences and i cant comment on other peoples side effects, however i would say for me its not a great mass builder but does seem more effective when used with insulin.

but on the whole i think its a great drug especially for older athletes im 32 and dont plan on stopping using it ever lol.

ps i was a bodybuilder\powerlifter but i dont compete any more due to work\family commitments etc
