IGF for endurance

I am a 150 lbs endurance athlete with a 5 year training age.

I just ordered IGF my first time through MR.

Any pointers open for help (but remember my goals are much different than a bodybiulder) increased recovery to increase power and speed, not nessisarily mass or look.

The plan:
reconstitute 1000 mcg to 6 x .5 ml pins at 166 mcg doses (so I can store away the pre measured pins). I am planning three stages of use for ED, EOD#1, EOD#2.

The ED cycle will be at 11 mcg ED for 30 days. (meaning every day of training) followed by a full recovery block of training off and biuld block off training off... so 10-14 days off.

The EOD#1 cycle will be at 22 mcg EOD for 30 days (meaning every other day of training) followed by a full recovery block of training off and biuld block off training off... so 10-14 days off.

The EOD#2 cycle will be at 22 mcg for each dose but doses will depend on the response from the first to cycles... probably with use manly at peak periods of training and more time between pins (4-5 days between prob).

I know that it isn't the 40 or 100 or 200 range but I think for the purpose of an endurance athlete it is going to allow for increased recovery and protien synthesis over a higher training frequency... to help train harder longer...

what do ya think?

What are you reconstituting your IGF with? Bacteriostatic water? Acetic acid?

If you are drawing into only 6 pins, and each pin has 166mcg, and you will be shooting 11mcg ed, 22mcg eod etc, that means you will be sticking the same needle in your body at least 8 times!! This is not good practice, you are asking for an infection.

Why don't you just draw out the required dose with a new pin everytime?

Just make sure you wipe the rubber stopper with 70% isopropyl alcohol wipes, instead of storing away pre measured pins.

As for your cycle, 30 days on and 14 days off is fine. 11mcg ED might just give you that edge in endurance, if it doesn't you can always up it.

i have yet to see any studies that show IGF-1LR3 is of any use for endurance athletes who are not looking for muscle.

It increases red blood cells(RBC), and RBC carries oxygen, so that's definetly an advantage to the endurance athlete.

Erthyropoetin (EPO) does this aswel, and that is why endurance athletes jab that aswel, actually even sprinters use EPO.
