About DiggyV
Biography:
40 something back into training after a 20 year gap . First goal to shed the coroprate Buddha look, second goal to get back to 80-90% of the shape I had 20 years ago, 100% would be nice, but at mid forties I am being a realist. Although more mass may be a possibility already, but less fat now that would be brilliant. Its along road but worth the journey.

To give you an idea of my former self :) 48" chest, 28" waist, 18" guns, 20" calves, 32" quads. God, to just get somewhere close again. - I was training partner and trainer for a NABBA Mr Wales, a Latham's Mr Wales and trainer to an EFBB Junior Britain - all 20-25 years ago.

Lump now gone

by DiggyV on 03-04-2012 at 08:41 PM
OK - had a lump removed from my right forearm last week. Looked like the doc had hacked a piece the size of a chicken breast out of it, but now its healed and the stitches are out - it looks tiny (the wound, before anyone passes comment). NO training last week (other than core), but back on it now.

The addition of AAS seems to be helping with the injuries, feeling pretty good right now, even managed a shoulder press the week before last.

All good

Seem to be holding together

by DiggyV on 16-01-2012 at 09:38 PM
OK,

I currently seem to be holding together. Yes the arm is not great, but the exercises mean I can deal with it, and get on with life and training. I think I need to get a job working for the forestry commission or similar and away from a computer - perhaps then it will bugger off.

Training is OK - back smashing it on splits tomorrow.

Cheers

Arm again - sounding like a broken record now.

by DiggyV on 03-11-2011 at 05:29 PM
OK, well I am slowly coming to the conclusion that this RSI Tendonitis is not going to go. I seem to have good days and bad days with it, but never a day without it. I can manage the level of pain with very specific exercises, but it only eases it. I am not a fan of pain killers for this, as I want to know when it is bad, so I can stretch again!

I have learned how to train with it as well, to minimise the pain. So I reckon I just have to live with it, work around it,

Arm

by DiggyV on 26-10-2011 at 09:35 AM
OK well the arm is playing up again, coupled with the fact that my head was not where it needed to be, meant that the last two weeks were a washout. :( Anyway got back in gear yesterday, and again today, so feel like the wheels are back on the wagon again. However diet suffered again while off, and am back to 100Kg, which is not where I wanted to be.

So re-evaluating my plan, I think my priority will be weight loss, and maintenance of current LBM. Am not going to try and add any

Not woop!

by DiggyV on 17-10-2011 at 01:58 PM
OK, well last week didn't go as planed, 2 poxy sessions, and one of them was cardio only. Not what I had planned, however diet was pretty good, so no real worries. Fat still seems to be dropping with this rauwolscine, 2 weeks to go and can actually see the top 1, almost 2 lines of my abs. just about. if I squint. Something I have not seen for 15+ years! HOwever seem to have ended up with some stubborn fat deposits at the bottom of my gut and chest. Seriously considering DNP to shift it now.
