![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Cheers for resizing DB - it's easier to compare now. Thanks for the compliments peeps. To clear a few things up, my goals were to loose some bf and maintain my muscle. The reason I decided on doing maintenance instead of cutting was that I felt that a clean diet would be enough to loose some bf to start with as my original diet was medeocre. I lost a nice even 1-2lbs/week so didn't need to go to cutting levels. I know there is some way to go before I look ripped, I'd guess another 11lbs off and I would have good abs. My aim now is to try level 5 bulking to see if I can add mass whilst still loosing the bf. I know it sounds a tall order, but the way I lost fat on maintenance, I think at worst I won't put on any more fat whilst bulking. Having never "cut" before (been "bulking" on a sh!t diet for 3 years!!) I now have an idea of how my body responds..... as I have said for the last couple of years, next summer is gonna be it! I will start my cutting early feb and hit summer ripped to sh!t!!! ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What do you recon to my proposal to hit level 5 chef? It's hard for me to make a judgement as I'm scared of loosing weight even if it is bf, bigorexic i think!!......I am naturally thin as are all my family and I have eaten like a horse to even maintain my weight so I kind of have a phobia about loosing weight even if I look better for it....... An objective piece of advise would be welcome as it is hard for me to judge..... Options: 1. continue to cut till I am properly ripped- level 4 until loss stops then move down a level or half level 2. move up to level 5 to bulk and see if my bf decreases whilst adding some more mass? Answers on a postcard! |

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | 11 lbs in 13 weeks is very good. If it were me (and it isn't) I would keep doing what your doing and get lean first. The best way to bulk is to be lean first. If you are maintaining your strength in your lifts then keep doing what your doing! |

OK - I'm still in the same position......... I see both arguements but have come to the conclusion that if I move up 1 level to level 5 bulking, I'm hoping to add very little if no fat just cos of the clean diet. Looking back on the sh1t I used to eat, I'm suprised I aint a real bloater so I hope my metabolism is fast enough to gain little fat.........thats my logic anyway! :withstupi | ||

| Getting HUGE! | if you keep it slow you will either loose fat and maintain muscle or gain muscle with little or no fat try zig zagging it every 4 weeks in other words try to gain some weight slowly for 4 weeks then reverse it and try to loose some fat for 4 weeks then the 3rd time try to keep your weight the same and let it settle, then repeat do this for awhile and get your best results |
