Unhappy Been Dreading this moment

Hey guys..
before I get laughed at immensly, remember I am skinny and know I am skinny, hence why I'm so bothered about bulking up a bit.
I feel like sh1t a lot of the time because of my body and look like a rake which these pictures manage to exagerate (I didn't know that was possible, lol)
The pics show off my skinnyness, I'll get my g/f to take some of me in a different light sometime and show you, but I am a string bean :(

I'm 17, 6 2", and around 156lbs.
I'm currently one week into training and eating, both are coming on well and improving as I go. Well... Here goes..

I WISH I'd have started training at 17. You have loads of time ahead of you to get massive if you want.

You look lean in the pics which is a good place to start from. Take some more pics in 2 or 3 months time and compare them. I'm sure you'll be happy with the progress that you'll see. Guys who start lifting at 17 tend to get great results if done right.

Good luck

mate, im 18 (i started last year and was the same weight).
1st major accomplishment you have is that you have the desire to gain weight, you have obviously been reading up on it and hopefully know what it takes to get big (HEavy compound movements like deads, bench, squats etc etc along with sound diet).
2nd thing is that like me you are young, and your natural testorone levels are RAGING which means you have more potential to gain weight if done right (what big said). Get the diet right, lift heavy and keep posting.
im no pro or advanced athlete by any means but i have learned a lot from this forum and the guys in it, and have already (for my standards) made excellent results that i never thought possible, you just need to prepare yourself and do everything right in and out of the gym, good luck!

Pull your jeans up!

And tidy that room!

lol

nah just kidding m8, a good platform to build on is that. I have the exact same body type as yourself and was exactly the same as you at your age except I am a little taller.

After a lot of effort and a lot of food I have now gained to almost 14 stone and am still growing.

Keep at it, and don't worry about how you look now, think of how your going to look and focus on it

Cheers

yeah mate no problems there, IMO naturally lean people tend to build the best bodies once they start training and eating right.

Just be thankful you haven't got 3 inches of fat to cut through before you can see your muscle (like me!)
