Re: GYMBABE JOURNAL

Workout Update

Trained Chest on Wednesday and had to do Triceps on Thursday as did not have enough time to train both on normal training day. really good sessions on both days so maybe the change is a positive rather than a negative.

Today was Back and Biceps as follows

FULL PULL UPS - 6 REPS - 5 REPS - 4 REPS

BARBELL ROW 40KG - 10 REPS 50KG - 10 REPS 55 - 8 REPS

CLOSE GRIP PULL DOWN - 47KG 8 REPS 54KG 8 REPS 54KG 6 REPS

S/A DUMB ROW 14KG - 8 REPS 16KG 8 REPS

BICEP CURLS 4 SETS S/A DUMB CURL 8KG, 10KG, 12KG X 2 ALL 8 REPS

Couldnt do anymore than this for bi's as they were already fatigued from close grip pulldown and would only usually do 6 sets for bis and tris as have tried this type of training on recommendation and found it much more intense than 10 sets at a lower intensity.

Good effort, hardest exercise in the gym

Even better are the gents who go to do one, realise they will never make it even half way up, satrt doing knee raises and claim its an abdominal exercise they have just started (even though the rest of their sessions is all back work)

As I always tell them

"You are not too heavy to do pull ups, you are just too weak"

I wish I could do a full one without the assist bit!!! Although, I'm not that strong I'm only using a 30kg assist for reps and I've seen guys not much bigger than me using wayyyyy more than that! Yay! Makes me feel a little bit smug! Hahahaha

Loving the journal Zoe, you're doing great! I'm defo coming up to essex to see ya!
