they've got a proper dip machine, although its really a machine its just a stand. either way, i did a good 20 reps and for the third/last set of 10 i couldnt even hoist myself up to the start position, but i managed five i met a mate down there aswell, hes joined and starting his life over, hes been heavy on drink and drugs for awhile, i really have to hand it to him! but yeh as you say, legs are spawn of satan and they are really going to have it! ![]() ok apparently i got to spread the love before i can rep you again!

| It's what you do on the outside that makes you | Re: Daves Progress - started 3/4/08 yesterday in gym i was squatting 80kg for about 6/8 reps i maxed out the calve machine, so im working my calves on volume rather than intensity leg extensions was 78kg to be honest yesterday i did more volume training than intensity though, im just finding my bearings this week, i hit them hard though, ive even got pums today, legs are killing things will get better im sure theres a slope leading up to the gym and after my workout i was waking about fine, the moment i went down that slope i lost all balance, quickly had to get hold of the railing ![]() thanks for the interest, reps for reminding me to update!

| It's what you do on the outside that makes you | Re: Daves Progress - started 3/4/08 legs still hurt two days on!!! shoulders today! im open to more techniques now so they were hit hard today alot of the machines are unmarked so i dont know what KG i am lifting, but they are numbered so i can still monitor progress i impressed myself with front lateral raises today, i finished my set on 22.5kg per arm at 8 reps each arm, i feel i should of started heavier, never mind its something to take note of next week

If i could offer some advice for what it's worth. It looks like you have the similar chest genetics i do(obviously yours is minus the fat and looks a lot better) What i mean by this is your lower chest seems to develop well but upper chest at a slower rate. I would switch to a lot more incline work such as incline smith press or even better bench with a spotter and incline db press etc. I didnt address mine so have a massive difference between upper and lower chest which i am working on at present. Dont take this as any kind of critisism as I am obviously in place to critisise myself but just hoping to offer some advice from somebody who is there at present ![]() Good progress mate and stick with that hard work ethic you seem to have, it will get a long way in bodyduilding and life itself. | It's what you do on the outside that makes you | Re: Daves Progress - started 3/4/08 no no no bulky i need words like this! reps! only the last month have i hit inclines i couldnt do them at home because i have no rack high enough to put the BB onto and DB's were maxed out upper chest is diffinitely another goal of mine, always has been, but only know i can hit them do you think pec decs are good for upper?

I haven't used them much but maybe thats why my upper chest is lacking ![]() I am doing everything incline at the moment for a few months just to see if i get the top to catch the bottom up. I wouldnt be too concerned with yours though having just looked at the side shot you have less to worry about than me on upper chest Have a good weekend mate Colin
