its a long process mate, and just remember there are plenty of factors that can effect your weight when dieting. i.e water retention.

you have to settle into your diet, and dont worry about weighing yourself too often cos it can be depressing.

just keep your head down stay focussed and im sure yo will reach your goals.

Cheers Scott,

It's strange really as I am seeing some good results just not reflected on scales. Could be water weight as you say as i haven't got in enough water the last few days so perhaps that.

I must admit the refeed i had last week wasn't up to the job either so metabolism may have slowed right down with leptin levels. I have lots of carbs on hand for tomorrow so will make sure i get enough clean macros

You competing this weekend at south mate?

Re-feed today:beer1:

Enjoying taking in carbs every 2 hours.

I had my fat done today and have dropped 1.5% back down to 20.3 so at least that has changed. This is in 10 days so not too shabby.

I found out why the going is slow. I have been doind 6 days a week fat burning but used a heart rate monitor today and realised i was around 20bpm below fat burning zone :jerk:

So will monitor heart rate this week and carry on staying strict on the diet.

I messed up the re-feed last week also so will make sure i get right macros today.

Didn't do anything yesterday had a total rest and feel better for it.

Back in gym today with 45mins fat burning then onto legs.

3 sets of squats and got back up to 120kg for last set so must be settling into diet now.

Then 2 sets of zurcher squats to finish off.

Onto leg extensions and curls then with standing calf raises to finish. Legs are wrecked now:lift:

OK here are this weeks pics. Main thing I am pleased with is my shoulders are starting to show some shape and back is slowly improving. My arms are an inch smaller than before as was storing a lot of fat on them but look bigger to me:crazy:

I do have this weird fat around my midsection though just over obliques. When i pull the skin tight i can see lumps evrywhere. anybody else seen this before. If so should i be massaging this to help it break down?

looks like a bad case of cellulite.

lost another kilo so down to 98kg now so 5kg in all so far.

You are looking much leaner.

Do yourself a favour and throw the scales and the fat clipper thing away. You do not need them.

Use a pair of tight jeans and the mirror or even better camera - these tell you all you need to know.

Great work so far - head down for the next month and review after that.

Thanks for all the comments they really help with keeping focused.

I think you are right about the callipers and scales. I have to use my 36" trousers next week as these 38" are getting really loose. Only thing i find is smaller waist trousers get tight around the thighs.

Finding cut ok now I have settled in to diet. Energy has been really low last couple of days. Have just got myself some assistance though so think that will help;)

Trained pull today so back and bi's. wasn't a bad session actually. pull ups are getting better with less weight to shift. This is letting me get really strict on going full extension at bottom with pause.

Bi's are receiving some punishment with 21's, double bi's cable pull drop sets.

Finished back with some seated rows and also seated lat pulldown as i can isolate better with machine for adding detail

Medium carbs tomorrow:hungry:

Hey man, im in same situation as you! 33 trained har for years, then let slip for year and quit smoking so put on 14 pounds, and not the good kind! Have just started training again. Will be watching your post with interest! Cheers S.

Good luck mate and keep at it. It was the beer that really got me.

Medium carb day today but went over a bit to around 210-220g carbs. Not the end of the world but for some reason i really craved them today.

Just 40 mins fat burning tonight on the treadmill.

Feeling really tired and not sure whether i need my re-feed or just coming down with something.

Ok worked chest, shoulders and tri's tonight and all my lifts were down due to lack of energy rather than strength. Cant wait for the epistane to kick in. should help a little with aggression when training and did offer me some strength gains last time.

As my energy is so low i will start refeed tonight as i think my body is demanding it.

Arms have stopped shrinking now and are at a puny 15.25" inch now!! thats an inch drop but they were coated in fat. guess i am not as big as i thought i was lol

Squats were up tonight and pumps were really good. Epistane starting to kick in i think.

I have piled on a couple of kg of weight so re-feed the weekend must have been successful.

Went to were a suit the weekend i ahdnt worn for some months and could fit two fists down the fornt with them done up

Only bad thing is i am starting to feel pretty damn small now. will keep at it though and concentrate on that the next bulk.
