my boyfriend wanted me to post these to get some comments on what he needs to do to improve, he goes to the gym 3 times a week and eats pretty well

breakfast porridge made with water 3 egg omelette green tea

snack tin of mackeral in tomato sauce and fruit

lunch salmon and rice, prunes and apricots and apple, plums, carrott, sugar free lemon squash

snack chicken breasts

tea either chicken,fish,spag bol,potatoes boiled,jacket potatoes,stir fry veg rice etc


supper he normally has a small piece fruit cake or a few sweets trying to get him out of this habit though

his weight at 18th nov was 13st 2lb,his height is 5f10 and his b.m.i was 26.2 and his body fat was 23.6% and body fat mass was 19.7kg and he is 39 years old any tips on diet or fitness routines would be great,bear in mind he doesnt want to get to big just to have a lean body

i have that attitude as it was they way you came across in your post it wasnt exactly welcoming, suggesting that the bloke in the picture doesnt relate to the diet, im sorry i dont want to cause offense i came on here to ask advice for him, he wants to lose a bit more weight he knows that he just wanted some opnions of what people thought

Guy's she's asked a valid question, why the negativity.
Welcome lisa. It does not seem right and I can see what they are saying albeit in a different manner. There is no way he's 23% bf I'm afraid, unless his backside is touching the floor.
He looks lean enough already, if anything I'd say he wanted to bulk up a bit...
Talk to him and make sure you have the correct stats as 23% bodyfat he is not.....by a very long way

The stats you posted do not relate to the man in the pictures.His BF is not 23.6%.

The guy in the pictures has a decent physique and does not appear to need any help.
