DaPs Progress Thread

Ok, so i'm going to post pictures every couple of months or so to show you all my progress.

Here are my first pictures, carrying alot of extra bodyfat which i can't wait to shift.

Started at the gym doing basic compound exercises for two months, two days of weights and two days of cardio, which consist of:

3x10 Deadlifts
Squats
Flat Dumbbell Bench
Dumbbell shoulder press
Dumbbell Bentover Rows

Cardio is ten minutes on cycle bike, cross trainer, running machine etc for one day, the other is cardio with abs training.

After that i will go onto a bigger routine which is a three day split with more isolation etc.

No, only just joined the gym, going to be doing compounds for two months.

Trained at home and at college gym before for a long time but had a long lay off.

I used to have a nipple piercing when i was in my mid teens also it gave me an excuse to the show the birds at my school my abbs when i lifted up my shirt to show them the piercing LOL.

I would drop the db bench and do normal barbell press i also honestly wouldnt bother with any other exercises than bench squat and deadlift for 6 months and get those lifts as high as possible trust me in the long run you will be glad the other exersises just hinder recovery.

Guy at the gym said dumbbell bench is better than barbell bench, i asked him.

I'm not sure about the bent over rows to be honest but we will see how it goes.

I prefer barbell, but i'll trust a bodybuilder to be honest, and i can see where he is coming from, seeing as it does get to more of the muscle using dumbbells.
