For example have you lost some weight to get to where you are now? You still look quite smooth so I would say you could still lean out some more to bring the muscle tone out. However with sensible diet and training I don't see why you cant do this while simultaneously adding more lean mass. Can you give us some more background? |

I would start the resistance training while at the same time getting started on the cardio. I would post your diet and training up in the appropriate forums so we can have a closer look at them and tweak for accelerated progress ![]() |

But you aint in a real bad state so once you got diet sorted and a good program going the bf% should start to drop. Id focus firstly on knocking the fat off, then bulking up mate. |

Really you need more mass to make the most of fat burning as muscle burns more calories the more you have. You can increase your calories through protein and burn off the fat with intense training. You just need to shift the balance in insulin selectivity to muscle deposits and not fat. Having more muscle will do this.
