hey Tim ! i can tell from your posts and when we chat , that you're the kind of bloke who loves to be heavy.

i,m not saying dont do it, far from it , i think at your size, a show is the next obvious step, and i think you'd do well too.

but.....

i'm having a terrible time at the moment bro, i spent all last year with a target of 18 stone in mind, and i did what i had to do to get there (force feeding, gear, training)

then with a show in mind i have to drop a good portion of the hard earned "weight" off.......

the first half stone is a bitch!!!..you step on the scales see the numbers going the other way !!!!!!!aghhhh ...its not nice,..............

and in my case at least, i dont look any sharper for the loss of fat/water........

proving that the bulk is not lean.......

its soul destroying ......but i've just got my head round the idea that its got to come off, so now i cant wait to see what i'll look like,..

its ten times more of a mental struggle than physical...........

but if you planning it for next year keep me posted mate,

and prepare mentally before you start the cutting.....

Thanks bud, I appreciate what you say - you got me straight - I do like being heavy - I tried dieting down once before in the attempt of seeing how I look for a show (about 6 years ago) but I just ended up getting depressed and everything went pair shaped. But in those days I did everything wrong.

Imo your right as well that dieting is more mental than phisical - thats why I have the upmost respect for bros who compete. It takes something a bit extra to take yourself to that level.

These days I just go for the mass and apart from that one time, ive never really wanted to compete. But with all the recent talk about shows from the likes of yourself and with the seasoned BBs like TT and pscarb who look mint, you start to get inspired. So maybe, hopefully, I will be ready to see what ive got in the next year or so.

And mate I wouldnt worry - you're massive and when you cut up you'l look mint, I also cant wait to see how you look in comp condition. You should do a log like pscarb.
