![]() | Couple of pics... Hey! I'm fairly new to these forums, and have one posted once or twice. However, I find a great deal of info on here really useful which has definitley been helping me out! I'm 18 years old, and work out fairly often, so I just thought i'd post a few pics to show how i'm progressing.... The first pic is about a month or two ago (i'm unsure of the date...) The second pic was taken on a few hours ago... The third pic is 'my goal'. Sly, for me, is a good inspiration, and I hope to achive the same type of look, in terms of proportions and tone etc... I'd like to improve on my triceps if anything, but i feel I am gradually getting there. I feel most improvement in my chest lately, and have really been enjoying working out without it feeling like a 'chore' I've also began working my legs a lot more, but because of recent knee surgery, this will have to remain failry light for a month or two longer:( Hoepfully I can continue to improve upon this. I'm currently trying to bulk up a little, before cutting back in about five weeks time for a performance in a musical... Yes, i'm a Performing Art's student!! Hope you like the pics, and any feedback/critisisms/advice would be greatly appriciated ![]() Last edited by will_m; 20-01-2006 at 12:14 AM. |

![]() | I'm just gonna keep working at it and see where I get really. At the moment i'm about 171lbs. I'd like to gain on this with lean muscle mass, but I don't really know what a realistic goal would be within a year...Anyone got any ideas on a reasonable goal to work towards? The main thing is that i'm really enjoying training at the moment, which can't be bad. Something that is concerning me lately however is my left shoulder. Seems to be getting gradually more painful. I don't know whether this is down to weight training, or something that happened at Tae Kwon Do training. But anyway... I'm trying to rest it as best as I can, but i'm worried about compromising my training. From what i've read, it may be a torn ligament, or something like that (doesn't sound very good at all) so i'm gonna get it check up on as soon as possible:( I'm very strict on myself about having good form on all exercises.... So I don't think it was caused due to lack of control/form whilst lifting. Any advice on this would be much appreciated. Will |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Muscle inballance. If the front is too strong for the back, whether chest or quads you will have problems. Do more exercises that work rhomobid and rear delt exercises, you cant go wrong there. Happened to me getting too strong in the bench and not strong enough in the bent over rows. Priorities are paramount.
