| UK-M's Token Aussie | My 2 year progress.. Ok fellas.. I came across a pic of me tonight and nearly died of a heart attack when I saw it. The size difference from back then to now is amazing. So what did that call for? I ran downstairs to grab my camera.. This is the blurry product I could only end up with due to poor lighting and no one to take the photo for me. Here we have it. First one is the christmas 2003 photo i came across.. the other 2 are from tonight. I will get some proper pose shots in good lighting next time I get a chance. |

Defo better arms/ shoulders and more proff that hard work does pay off........... I bet you have looked at the mirror lately and thought........Am I growing??? Well your pictures answer that for sure.......as I always tell a newbie to the sport to take a picture BEFORE they start training as there is nothing better than looking back and reflecting on teh difference, it gives you such a boost just when you need it. Well done and keep it up. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Same body type as mine. I have managed to get 2.5 stone in 1 year onto my frame keeping same body fat (9-11%). Although i do agree and im being honest Marco...the results arnt outstanding....but they are not going to be when we both have very high metabolisms. Results are slow and hindering..... There is definite mass onto the arms, shoulders and forearms, Solid gains there. Most i have gained in a month is 4-5 pounds and that was eating 4500 calories+ every day, to get any results at all you need a very calorie dense diet....even more than other people because of our metabolisms.....I used to hate that fact, now i like it...because i have such low body fat the muscle shows through more and you look bigger because of it. Defininte gains....No denying that...but i would say you could gain a bit quicker than that with a sound nutritious calorie dense diet. When im nailing the diet and almost making myself sick from overeating the results are still slow....just have to make sure it's consistent. Good job tho Marco, not putting the results down in any way...I would say tho you can definetly gain quicker than that over a 2 year period. How much weight have you actually gained since the start/measurements/weight increases? Last edited by Killerkeane; 19-12-2005 at 08:50 PM. |

| UK-M's Token Aussie | I will agree with you, the results arent outstanding as everyone has said, but without following a diet and knowing about as much as throwing weights in the air up until what I know now, I know that if I started training the way I am now I would be much bigger. The thing that shocked me was it was just a shock as to me I didn't look any different from when I started... And my hair is brown :P I was a fool a few months ago and went back to my surfing styles and the hair came with it :P I still love surfing but this hair of mine is giving me the ****s. |

You could have had even better gains (As you admit yourself), doing things different. But the IMPORTANT thing to consider here is YOU are happy with your progress, remember you are only competing against yourself (Not some 20 stone monster). Keep it up and I am sure you will "Shock" yourself again soon.

Oh and I would like to also mention that I hav't been training for a solid 2 years. Been off and on for various reasons. Probably to be truthfully honest I have only been training thorourly the last 6 months. Before that I was pretty much a couple weeks on and a month off because of school. Free man now ;) Time to start getting some food into me.
