get ready for a shocker, cos im quite sure (actually killerkeane told me) that my calory intake is way too low. breakfast. muesli, fruit juice - and now, a delicious (not) egg milkshake, 3 eggs blended with milo so that it tastes a little less rancid lunch. 2 rolls with some sorta cold meat, like turkey or ham or wahtever and salad supper. fish or chicken and potatoes or rice, vegetables and more salad. any suggestions. i think probably protein would be a good suppliment, but im stone ass broke bein a student and all. | |

Need to bump that up to 6. mass gainers would be more benefial to you than protein powders as they contain more carbs and calories. If your stone ass broke then you can get some cheap tinned tuna in there. In the mornings i have 2 large tuna+cucumber sandwhiches.(Four slices of wholemeal bread+2 tins of tuna). that immediatly meats carb+protein requirements for that meal. Tinned Tuna/fish is cheap, high in protein and would be a good substitute if your low on money. Last edited by Killerkeane; 15-10-2005 at 12:24 PM. |

11 o'clock ish have a meal replacement drink like Killer said. Lunch - Tuna sandwich (one at first then when you get used to it one and a half then two when you can), pasta or Jacket potato 3 PM- another MRP drink 5 pm dinner as you said is fine have another protien after training - mix with water so it digests quicker. also try and eat again after bed if you can like what you had for dinner. Don't snack cause this will curb your hunger, not even one little nibble! If you need to eat nuts. When you can eat everything listed every day then take out the MRP's and swap for real food e.g. protien and carbs, and have the MRP before bed. and the protein after training. This is kind of what I used to do when I tried to eat loads and couldn't and now my diet is quite good cause I can eat more. You need the MRP's though cause these will fill in the blanks with the missing cal's - dont buy any branded stuff cause this is expensive just find a cheap one and get it down your neck!

Add some good fats like fish oils, flax seed, nuts etc. Second, cold processed meats are ok once in a while but they actually have oxidised fat in them and can raise LDL cholesterol levels and we really want to stay away from oxidised fats if you can help it. Fat is good for you by the way and stuff like avacado, nuts, fish is awesome and great for good health. I eat all my protein, fats and carbs together. I would eat 5-6 meals a day too. Fruits in the morning and vegetables in the afternoon. Keep the carbs down last meal so not to spike insulin which will supress the pituitary gland from releasing HGH while you sleep. Up the protein and fat tho bro, this is a good thing.
