Basically if God had to cook his food, he would use a George Foreman grill.

Re: george foreman grills

Do like peg says and butterfly the chicken breast(slice it horizontal).

Marinade the chicken in mojo or something that you like and the chicken will still be juicy.

Mojo(mo-ho) is a latin marinade that I'm not sure if you can get in the UK. If you can find it over there then get some. It's good stuff.

Re: george foreman grills

wrap in tinfoil after marinading, literally place some tinfoil down, place the fillets on top and then wrap over, voila.

Nice and succulent, and no mess to clean up.

Leave some foil overlapping so the jucies/fat can run into the tray.

Try it.

Re: george foreman grills

So you mean wrap the chicken up to keep all the juices in? Or should I just wrap the grill to keep it clean?

Do you still get the grill marks and that nice little char?

Re: george foreman grills

if your using a foreman, probably a given but always best to let it heat for 5 mins first else it becomes even easier to nuke the outside and not touch the centre of breasts. Im a big fan of cut into small strips (diced like) and slap on a variety of chargrilled, cajun or fajita spices.

The juices will still run out to the bottom but the chicken retains much more juicyness, it is actually as soft and tasty as chicken from Nando's this way, I guarentee it. And yeah I still manage to get the nice little grill marks, I also butterfly the breast so it only takes like 5 mins to cook if that. Let it heat up for a while then place down the tin foil (enough to cover the grill and enough to wrap over and cover) and place the fillets on, than wrap.

Really does work.

Re: george foreman grills

Reps for that tid-bit of information.

I love easy clean up.

For those that may not know:

To butterfly meat means to split the breast in half with a horizontal cut and open it into two pieces.

Re: george foreman grills

no mate. you just slice your chicken to get it thin, then put your raw chicken in a tupperware with some marinade. Let it overnight and you'll see the chicken absorbs the juices. Then you just cook the chicken like you normally do.

This will keep it juicy and give you some good flavors.

You can use all kinds of marinades. Mojo is my favorite for chicken unless it's bar-b-que, but the forman sucks for bar-b-que. You just cant get that smokey taste from a forman.
