| somebody stop me! | can any one tell me how much protein and carbs i should be aiming for each day. time to get serious with the deit:lift: my stats are: weight:19 stone 6 lbs body mass:34.9 body fat weight: 7stone bobdy fat %:36.0 h2o body water %:46.7 i am going to be stricked on this and no straying promise.my aim is to lose lots more body fat and to put on more muscle mass as well and important to start gaining more strength due to my karate fights this year coming up. iwas told that the protein is 1 gram per pound of body weight, is this enougth ? the other thing is carbs,this year i have lost 2stone 7 lbs mainly due to karate, i have never controled my carb in take and now its time to see what happens when i do.i have been told about 140 grams a day, well its dinner time now and i have only got 13 grams of carbs left is this to low and what should it be?:confused: can some one who knows alot more about nutrition than me,give me a pointer in the right dirrection. cheers jas
