Plz Help Someone

Hi all,

First time visitor so Im abit nervous. I would be greatful if someone can help me. I'm 25 and have been excerising nearly everyday mostly cardio and as a result I have gone from waist size 42 to 40 and have lost 15kgs over the space of 6 months.

I'm stuck now as I have been told by many people that weight trainning combined with cardio is the best way of losing fat, but for weight trainning I'm sure I have to eat high protein food would that really help me lose the fat?

Yes weight training combined with cardio is the best way to lose weight and tone up!
Also a good, healthy, balanced diet is essential with weight control. Post up what you eat at the moment and we will be able to see where we need to change things around to get the best for your training and goals.

Thanks for your reply Lauren at the moment :

Morning 1x Weetabix with semi skimmed milk.

Mid Morning : 1 x Apple RAW

Lunch : Soup (mix vegi) or cup a soup (low Cal)
alothough sometimes I dont eat anything if I'm busy at work.

Mid Afternoon : 1 Apple Raw

Dinner : mostly 2 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
(most of the time grilled but sometimes curry aswell)

I have about 8 glasses of water everyday and also my local health shop reccomended me to Xedra Cut.

I would add protein and fat to meal one

add a protein and a fat to meal two

add a protein and fat to meal three

and take those breasts and add those to your other meals.

Each meal should combine a protein, fat and carb to each with the exception of dinner protein and fat or just protein and,

After workout meal can be carbs and protein and no fats.

Seems kindof low on the cals to me tho.

Diet is the single easiest way to lose body fat.

good reply Hacks.

I must admit your food intake is extremly low. People think if they starve they will lose weight (fat) but all that happens is that they lose muscle, which is not good.
You need to eat a lot more food and take Hacksskiis advice here.

Any more questions please feel free to ask away! :o

Thanks alot to Hacks and Lauren for the advice I wanted to ask what type of foods I should eat as I want to lose the FAT and increase lean muscle. People tell me that I can only do one of the things at a time.

A close friend of mine lost 3 stones in 3 months by going on the Horwards WAy Deit Plan, which is basically a liquid deit and on normall food for 3 months but after reading both of your advices I think I will follow what you guys say after all it sounds more real. The horwards way one sounds to me as a quick fix deit.

Please let me know on if I can shed the FAt and increase the lean muscle at the same time.

Kind Regards

Nas

Well, controlling insulin when dieting is the most important thing, first and formost for fat loss.

Proper resistance training is very important for keeping muscle while dieting and or while trying to gain muscle.

Your protein requirement is also very important when maintaining muscle or trying to gain muscle when working out or dieting too.

I would'nt mind giving you a diet but I dont know what foods are available to you, nor your workout routine or your discipline to keep your diet.

I am not shrugging you off by any means, but I would like to know more about things other than just diet.

Information is knowledge and knowledge is power to succede in your goals.
Just relax and answer the questions and be willing to change your diet, training, and commitments to things.

In essence keep an open mind and be aware.

I am all ears for you.........................OK?
