Please check this diet for overweight women
I have a friend who is 29, female about 15 and half stone who is wanting to loose her weight after having a baby a couple year ago and just letting things slip really. She has already lost a stone with the slimming world diet but wants to give things a change as the stone has took her about 8 weeks to loose.
I was thinking along the lines of this for her:
Meal 1: 5 egg whites, 30g oats or 2 weetabix
Snack: 4 celery sticks with a little bit cottage cheese
Meal 2: chicken breast, salad
Snack: 2 rice cakes and a handful of nuts (not sure which ones though??)
Meal 3: chicken or tuna or salmon, salad
Before bed: Protein shake
What do you think? I was going to start her off on 5 x 40 mins low intensity cardio per week and see how that goes.
Any comments would be appreciated
Thanks
