fat burning-weights or cardio?

Hi this is my first post here

Im like most people at this time of year i have a holiday in august and want to shift a large amount of my bodyfat for my holiday.

I keep looking for the correct and quickest way to shift bodyfat in 2months. Now i love weights to train and am not much of a cardio man, and have read that a high protein diet and intense weight sessions will shift the fat quicker than doing huge cardio sessions.

I really want dramatic changes so much that i came across some D-bol and thought if i was to take 20mg of that a day for 4 weeks doing intense weight sessions with a high protein diet and keeping carbs to a minimum(enough to give me energy to lift).

But then i read articles saying D-bol will bloat me and make me look worse if i want to cut, others say it would be good with a strict diet. So im confused and i dont want to waste time doing trial and error as i know 2 months isnt a long period of time.

I can manage 6 times a week at gym working 3 muscle groups a session and not doing no cardio. Shall i introduce some cardio? or stick to weights and take the d-bol approach. Or forget weights all together and hit the cardio and bulk up after my holiday, as im looking to continue training for aslong as i stay focused doing it.

Any Help would be good

Do weights 3x a week and do cardio 3x a week. Just eat a clean diet, plenty of protein, low carbs and enough fats. Shoot for a 500 cal/day defecit.

What are your stats?

I would do weights only but do the workout fast very fast lift heavy as poss in good form but get rest down to 20 secs per set........

D-Bol would be good for strength but is not generally used for cutting as some people retain water and will make you appear soft and maybe a little fatter than you really are.

If you are sure you want to use steroids you should consider something like winstrol @ 50mg a day or 30-50mg of Anavar.

You might want to consider Clen and maybe ECA.

I'd say cardio and weights for your goals. Unfortunately it is very difficult to increase lean muscle mass while losing bodyfat. Make sure you're performing the major compound movements, and I'd say look to High Intensity Interval Training to help burn the fat. Also, keep your diet as clean as possible. Dianabol is more commonly used as a bulking steroid than a cutter. Maybe if your diet was spot on then it could be benefitial in reaching your goals...BUMP for more experienced opinions...

Executioner, post your stats up to help us help you: weight, height, bodyfat % (or approx. - fat/thin/can squeeze *this* amount of skin on stomach). What does your typical diet and training currently consist of?

i would assume you know what you are doing when it comes to training as in you have a good grounding and you know what to do in the gym....

add in 4 cardio sessions per week building up to 45min per session of walking on a treadmill or using a cross trainer the best time is first thing in the am but if you cannot do this then after training is the 2nd best bet.

As for diet increase your protein to 1.5g per lb and lower your carbs to .75g per lb add in some good fats from Salmon/PB/lean meat/fish oils....

cut out all of the junk food and keep the diet tight use a ECA stack 2 weeks on 2 weeks off alternate the weeks with Clen......

you want to lose weight and you have approx 8 weeks to do it and how you look in 8 weeks is down to how much you put in now.....you will not lose the weight you want to without hitting the cardio..

go with pscarbs option imo.....

if u wanna runt he dbol and think u are experienced enough when it comes to what it does how it works sides....PCT and what not then take it... it may make u hold water but that will come off nearly as soon as u stop it so 6 weeks on dbol wont hurt ur fat loss plan

Hi guys thanks for all replys

My stats are:

6ft tall
105kg
bf % is about 25-29 % :o

I used to do alot of training when i was 18-19 and was really obese but i trained my heart out for about 14months and went from 18 and half stone down to 14 and half my waist went from 44inch to a loose 38inch.

But as things go i got into wrong crowd and picked up some nasty habbits and started to drink alot more and before you know it the weights there again. So im 22 and about 16 and half stone now with a loose belly and womens hips.

I have been working in gym for last 4 weeks and gone from 110kg to 105kg trying to really get my legs buff as my jobs consists of me doing alot of walking so i feel more muscle there will help me burn them calories. Doing sqauts on a machine at max of 120kg weights, 65kg on bench press, and dumbells of 17.5 kgs :boohoo:. But i am starting to get closer to the strengh i used to have when i was training hard.

So do you think i can make big changes in such short time, At momemt i am doing weights everyday but doing 2 or 3 muscle groups a session with no cardio and works out i prob train same muscle group twice a week, is this to much? or shall i do more muscle groups in one session and then replace certain days with cardio?

I would consider using other steriods that would help me cut more, but i can only get hold of one type of steroid and thats D-bol. If i could get some others i would but i just dont know anyone :(

Don't worry about gear, mate, if you've only been back training for 4 weeks then stick with natural training. You can attain your goals just fine without it.

This is where a lot people go wrong, steroids on their own will do nothing for fat-loss, this is all up to your diet and training. If you use steroids they will simply give you the chance to retain more muscle mass whilst losing bodyfat than you would be able to naturally. YOU DO NOT NEED steroids to get lean.

Some substances have gained a reputation as 'cutting' or 'bulking' steroids, the reality is some compounds will make you retain more water (generally longer acting meds such as Test Enan or Cyp or Sustanon) and some orals such as D-bol or Anadrol, whereas others (generally shorter acting steroids like Prop or Tren) won't. Please do confuse water retention with fat-loss or gain, it is easily done but they are totally different things.

To be honest at approximatley 25-29% bodyfat I think you should drop the idea of using steroids altogether, a few weeks of clean dieting and regular cardio and weight training would give you significant progress.

If you really want to use steroids then D-bol will do just fine, but please don't think it will make things any easier. Cutting is very hard and takes a lot of commitment and dedication to get lasting results.
