![]() | Hi Everyone Just hoping someone could take a look at my diet and exercise plan as I really want to know if im doing everything right. Exercise: Treadmill 20 mins, 4 mornings a week Weights twice a week Food: Breakfast: Shreaded wheat with milk and water Lunch: chicked salad Dinner: Chicken or fish with broclli Also snaking on small amount protein between meals I need to lose about 1 stone at least and have 5 weeks to do it in. Ive been following this for 10 days strictly, i know im being impatient but shouldnt I start seeing my weight go down by now? Ive not lost anything at all. Im 32 and female. Im not sure if after being on Atkins on and off over previous years has messed up my system. Is there anything i could do or take to help with weight loss. Im worried that my 5 weeks will be up and ill still be the same, plus its hard to keep motivated when the weight wont budge. Thanks for your help |

![]() | are you doing your cardio in the morning before your breakfast? that would really help. the rest sounds okay to me. maybe up the weights to 3-4 x week. you gotta be more patient tho. Also the scales can lie! try and get someone to measure your bodyfat properly on a weekly basis.

| UK-Muscle Male Animal | Welcome to the board Kaci. I would drink some coffee first thing in the morning 30 minutes later do some cardio. I would do the atkins again. Do the 14 day induction part again. Make sure you get into ketosis. If you dont get into ketosis then take in more fat. After the 14 day induction, start eating green vegies, broccoli, spinish, asaragis with your proteins and fats. Eat 5 meals a day, make sure all your meals have proteins, fats and carbs. Drink in allot of water between meals. Dont eat any breads, pastas, sugars, potatoes, corn, bananas, carrots. Always eat breakfast. I noticed your first meal is almost non existant of protein.

Also you need like 6 meals a day with the same volume of food that you are eating right now. If you do this the body will speed up its metabolism and you will be burning more. Lots of water and some good fats should be included. Stay away form all processed foods, even the shreaded wheat too. Cooking vegetables raise the glycemic value of that food so uncooked foods like vegetables would be better. Add some fiber like even cellery this is good and will slow down absorbtion too. Apples are good and all berries are good too.

![]() | if you know that real food is best then youve answered your own question. Any meal replacement isnt going to help really, as most of the carbs in those things are simple sugars. You could try any of the commercial fat burning supplements but to be honest ive tried a few and think they are a bit of a con and a waste of money. Eating the right foods will assist you better than anything else, as there are no miracle shortcuts on the shelves. There are stimulants you can use like ephedrine but that depends on you really. Get your diet right and more importantly than what you eat is the time of day you eat it. Protein throughout the day but no carbs after 3pm i would say, even 1pm! cardio before breakfast if you can, and you'll be laughing. Can you get anyone to measure your skinfolds with calipers as this will tell you better than looking at the scales.

![]() | Also increase your water intake. This may be especially important as you are a woman and oestrogen tends to make you hold water under the skin so drink more, and you wont hold on to as much. Lowering your salt might help too.
