| Bulking! | Belly! Come from nowhere :( Over the past few months i've been trying to up my daily cals to gain more weight but lately i've started to get a real belly on me. I'm 22 and have always been around 11 stone but i'm now just over 12 stone, I have a six pack when tense but when i'm just normal I sometimes look pregnant! (mainly later on during the day). I don't know if it is my diet, lack of cardio or both what has caused this. Current daily diet is as follows: Morning: Bacon on toast OR cheese flan, or a few sausage rolls Afternoon: Big bowl of chicken pasta OR a few chicken sandwiches with peppers, lettuce, mayo, and pork pie Night: Something like a Sunday Roast, usually Steak with potato wedges, or pork chop, chips, mash, all with plenty of veg I know my diet isn't the best but I can't seem to find what's causing this pregnant look/bloated belly. I have completely cut out the milk and the oats as I thought this may be causing it but a month later and i'm still no different Cheers ![]() |

You might want to throw in some Alcohol with that little lot, the Alcohol will counter act the food and make the belly go away. Stream lined Even. Geo

| Hulking Out! | Re: Belly! Come from nowhere :( i think what geo was trying to say, is that your diet is crap. your breakfast is utter ****e. how about a protein shake and a small bowl of oats. pasta won't do you too many favours and neither will a bunch of chicken sandwiches. how about you make your own chicken salad. sunday roast is supposed to be just that, for a sunday, not every day of the weak. you're eating 3 times a day, the bodies like a furnace feed it little and more often, more meals, smaller meals, more protein, less carbs. |

Much of bellyfat would be the problem with too much insulin. If you choose better sources of carbohydrates, less breads, less wedges, even pasta, and choose better carbs that wont spike blood sugars you will fair better. Try and get more green fiberous vegetables in your diet, that bloating is probably you are not digesting things well, can come from the bread actually. Back off on the fast spiking carbohydrates, up the fiber, up the good fats. More fiber dude, more fiber. |

![]() Bread is a fooker for piling the lard on though. I used to have a slice or two with most meals but since stopping that habit I've dropped about 10lb. The lard belt is still in residence though, and if it doesn't shift when I up the cardio to 3 times a week now my back is healed, it's going to get an ECA stack kick it's ass

Come from nowhere :( Bread, hell that tasts soooo good, especially with garlic and butter......Mmmmmmmmmm But in all seriousness, some can eat bread, some can not, I cant, some can about 1/3 of the people, that rules out most of us, unless you are young. My 9 year old daughter can live on donuts, hell she can live on just sugar,me, I would have a big problem. Insulin resistance getting older is no joke, young kids not so much of a problem unelss they are getting fat. Fiber and fish oils with meals, best thing..... The more insulin sensitive you are, the better control of insulin, the better control of insulin, the better control of the waistline, if that was not bad enough, bellyfat has more aromitization than less bellyfat, and estrogen promotes bellyfat......... Diet is key here big time...... |
