cardio time

OK then i need to really shift this bulk fast because its ****ing me right off. So i intend to slow right down on the weights and step up the cardio. Any general advice on cardio effort, how long for? how many times per week?
I get the 4 day splits and whatever to do with weight training as i have read as much as i can on it and am fine with what i was using, but have no real idea on an 'ideal' fat losing cardio cycle.
Is it as much as i can whenever i can or is it a structured 60mins 3 or 4 times a week or is it 40 mins daily or what, help
Diet will be absolutely spot on, i have got that well nailed now and can stay strict with myself for it
cheers

Re: cardio time

I would still lifts weights mate before you do your cardio. If you can go first thing in the morning that would be ideal. Lift weights for 30 mins and cardio for 40 mins. Always lift weights first and finish on cardio. I would aim to do this at least 4 times a week if possible. Like i say, go early if you can and try to go at it on an empty stomach, maybe just have water before hand and have breakfast after your session. It'll not burn off straight away but after 3/4 months at it im sure you'll be more than happy with the results......That will work aslong as you've got a good diet in place

Hope that helps

Re: cardio time

if you're unsure of how much cardio to add then why not start at your lower end.. and increase depending on the results go..

definitely keep your training up though mate or you'll be making your life harder.. if you lower the lifting then you're burning less cals straight away.
