trimming down

Hi all,

First time poster on a bodybuilding forum.

I’ll give yo a bit of an outline as to what I do.

Im race push bikes (road bikes) in my spare time but I’m not built like a jokey. I weigh around 89km and don’t have a huge amount of fat. I carried out a skinfold test and I worked out that I’d have approx 14% body fat.

I want to completely lean out so I’ve started to be quite strict with my diet. Ive started going to the gym so I can put on more muscle which will hopefully eat the fat away, seeing as though muscle tissue is catabolic. I want to get into the single digits with my body fat %.

Apart from a strict diet, is there anything I can take which will help/speed up the process. I don’t want to build up and be bulky at all because putting on size, means that I’ll be heavier and that’s not what I want to achieve on the bike. If I loose the bodyfat, I can put on a bit more muscle and still be the same weight.

A mate of mine said that I should take some equapoise (Not sure of the correct spelling) or some other one which starts with a “T” which will help loose bodyfat. The downside I can see to that is that it decreases your libido from what I read.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

Thanks
Slick1
