![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: My comp prep diet for critique hello m8 nice one for deciding to compete if your undecided about using gear why dont you do your first comp as a natural . just experience the diet training and the whole competition prep see what kind of shape you can get in . you will be in a great position then to maybe do a course after your show and gain some quality tissue . just a thought m8 |

I will see how much muscle I start losing. I think that will be the determining factor (or how small I feel) I am quite pleased with progress at present and on second low day on carb cycling. Medium day tomorrow (cant wait). Had to set off for work this morning at 4.30am so no morning cardio but will hammer it tonight. I will update in detail on my show prep log(link is in my signature) Cheers Colin

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: My comp prep diet for critique I have been following my diet for the last few as shown: Low Day = 300p 100c 60f Med Day = 300p 175c 60f High Day = 200p 600c 50f Re-feed on saturday. My questions is are my medium days high enough? I also have my cheat on refeed day and have assumed that's where i should have it? Any other day and it would put my macros over. Or would this help if i had it mid week to rev the metabolism back up? maybe on tuesday after 2 low days? Weight seems to have stopped dropping now for last 6 days or so and being unassisted at present wouldn't have expected that. I have been very strict with diet and kept macros spot on and have kept up the morning and evening cardio. I do seem to still be leaning out though should maybe stay well clear of the scales for few weeks. Any advice greatly appreciated as I want to get ahead of the game as much as possible leaving me time at the end of prep if I need it. Colin

the other question regarding is your medium day high enough everyone is different mate and its how you handle those carbs my medium day is 250g and my low is 150g but that is me and everyone reacts differently if your weight has started to drop you either are going to have to do more cardio or drop the carbs again slightly but i would try not to worry about weight to much if you are looking leaner thats what counts what i do sometimes is before my refeed day on sat i drop my carbs to 50/100g to trick the body then carb up on sat then on sun i will drop them to 50/100g again just try to keep your body guessing hope this helps im sure you will have some more input on the question you asked from other memebers too | |

Things may have slowed where my receptors are less reactive to eca now also. The 10 day break from the ECA should sort that out though. When cycle starts I can add T3 into the mix also but obviously not before due to catabolism. I may have answered my own questions there. Perhaps ECA was doing most of the work and i need to drop carbs anyway. That would put me down below 2000Kcals on a low day though. I could make up with fats but isnt a calorie a calorie? Cheers Colin
