Re: Sweat Suits - Advise please.

I think there only good if you say dieting to cut weight for like boxing rapid style to make the way in.

Soon as you start drinking etc you will put on the water that you sweated out.

I wouldn't touch them, a nice diet losing the weight slowly is more my style.

Why are you using one??

Re: Sweat Suits - Advise please.

Hi Geo, using it as im competing on 5th oct.

gonna start thread on 13th when im 12wks out.
Have been doing quite well with fat loss to be frank but my wife picked it up for me so i thought i would give it a try and boy did i sweat.

I sweated that much i thought it would be doing more harm than good and with drinking around 4-5 ltrs water every day i think i got rid of most of that..

Re: Sweat Suits - Advise please.

I wouldn't use it dude, you have 12 wks of diet to do, thats along time to diet for a show, and if your using that your going to do more harm.

Good cardio 2 x a day and diet is going to bring you in for the show, i dont know anybody on here that used one for competing this year.

Re: Sweat Suits - Advise please.

You'll find conflicting reports all over the internet about whether a sauna suit will work or not.

Yes, they will make you sweat a lot more than not using a sauna suit. BUt in that process you are also burning more calories because of the accelerated metabolic action of sweating more.

You'll replenish the h2o you've lost, but use a sports drink designed to rehydrate your body and return the needed nutrients.

Heck, you even burn calories in your sleep. 24/7 you burn calories. Every action you make burns calories. The more action, the more calories. Wearing a sauna suit accelerates that process even more.......

And you'll be pushing your physical endurance to a higher level.

Re: Sweat Suits - Advise please.

jcdisciple, are you sure you dont sell them? kinda sounds like a sales pitch lol. what you said is true though but.......

Id be carefull wearing it during your sleep though and wash the thing regularly, cause I know someone who got a nasty rash from dirt getting into the pores, they open your pores more and aid spots.
