My diet

Ok guys i'm trying to drop some serious fat and i've been looking through the posts and suggested diets on here and this is what i've come up with...
Meal 1 7or8 egg omelette
meal 2 pro shake
meal 3 liquidised tuna and diet coke (yeah sounds nasty but its a cheap and easy 30gms protein when i work nights !!) + handful of cashews
meal 4 pro shake
meal 5 as 3
meal 6 as 5&3.
On saturdays i eat "normal" meals with my family as this gives me a break and also some carbs.
I will add that if i eat a carby diet i start to feel pretty rough, i.e stomach pains, the runs, no energy and generally feeling run down, another reason why i've dropped them down low.
Right as for me i'm 5'6 and 17.5 stone (was over 18 stone three weeks ago) i've trained for years and find "bulking" pretty easy but getting my fat off is a mare ! my bodyfat is in the mid 30% mark so the diet is quite extreme and i can afford to maybe lose a little muscle while the fat comes off.
training wise i'm coming back from a lay off since christmas and with time being a big issue i'm training twice a week with weights and and getting cardio in when i can.
Any help/comments would be much appreciated.

Re: My diet

Looks awful to me,lack of efa's and zero fruit/veg.

Carb cycling would be healthier and yield better results imo

Train heavy and up the cardio

Re: My diet

Been taking a wellman multi vit or an adam one and a cla or efa caps, i actually feel like i have more energy than when i eat rice, potatos etc... originally i dropped out carbs because i was feeling sh1t after eating them (started to think i had glandular fever again !)
I'm back training heavy and have upped my cardio.
Also forgot to mention that i don't get much time to eat whilst at work and in the past have prepped food and just end up bringing it home untouched, hence the liquid meals.

May I ask how long it took you to become fat and what do you put it down to?

Re: My diet

Yeah sure you can, i can honestly say i've never considered myself thin or slim even, always refferred to as chunky if ya know what i mean ?! Grew up playing sport till i was about 23 (still not thin !) i've never really drunk alcohol and don't touch it now, i work lots of hours in a job where i'm on my feet all night with no time to stand around or stop and chat (fairly active), when i eat carbs esp. bad ones i get more and more hungry, i've cut them and it seems to have helped with cravings too... so yeah, never been thin, down in a small part to genetics, bad food choices lack of willpower...in short me, i'm trying to put that right now.

Re: My diet

Leeston, a couple of weeks so far mate, i don't think it can be a permanent diet with the very few carbs etc, but as i said i'm trying to drop some fat as well as work out if i have a food allergy or even just eating too much ! So i'll have to start introducing some carbs again somewhere
