day / meal off

Does anyone have a day off from their BB diet?

I am curious as to how you stay sane... also just had some Haribos and a magnum - hoping I haven't just put 3 weeks training out the window!??

Will indulging like this now and then make much of a differance?

Re: day / meal off

Today the same as every saturday I had,

KFC

INDIAN

AND A MCDONALDS BREKKIE

I still use it to get my 5-6 portions of protein a day but I only do it one day a week the rest I am totally rigid with my diet. No sweets, no shat, no crap.

One day a week is fine imo.

Re: day / meal off

now and again is not going to harm your 3 weeks of training.
Once a week its not exactly going to pile on the fat as long as you are eating clean for the rest of the week.

Re: day / meal off

There are cheat meals, not cheat days

On the flip there are structured re feeds where you can enjoy foods you generally wouldnt but combinations of high fat and high carb meals are not ideal, nor is fructose in large amounts

OR

You can accept that BBing isnt your life and this is something you want to do and accept the POSSIBLE consequences, which for most are not huge but sometimes noticable.

Plenty of literature on what and when to binge out on and how to do it but in reality find a diet you enjoy to include a treat every now and then, not hate your diet and then binge out because its that bad through the week

Re: day / meal off

yeah i have a clean meal plan and i eat whatever i want on top of that.. most days i'd have a choccy bar in there.. or a kfc/subway.. you cant stay sane on a clean diet.. plus its hard to get all the calories in (well i find anyway)

When I do binge I still try and keep it fairly healthy.

KFC was boneless breast

INDIAN was dry chicken tikka and plain boild rice

MCDONALDS was scrambled egg and some pancakes

So you can still eat fairly clean even from a takeaway.

Granted its not the same as a rigid diet but it loads more enjoyable and it stop my missus complaining we cant go out to eat anywhere
