Now back to the original question 5 10". 70kg and holding fat? sounds like you have been doing something a little wrong your diet is never of a fat burning nature, loads of carbs constantly thrown at the body and not a lot of training. There is minimal protein to ensure LBM is retained and at least offer some form of anabolic environment. 50g of nuts is not a meal and its 25-30g of fat and some proteins which are not ideal for maxmium gains you say you use too much butter....there would be a place to start fast acting carbs everywhere, saturated fats with them = fat storage in the insulin spike i too would expect a poor physique eating in that fashion, one which is low on muscle, high on body fat and rarely anabolic of inducing lipolysis

Cortisol released into the blood stream during stressful periods can cause an excess in the abdominal area...... Just thinking of natural things that may be causing it.... Still think depleting carbs a little would benefit you! xx

You say not a lot of training? Do bear in mind that I am an endurance athlete not a body builder so don't want to add lots of muscle...

Breakfast7am 1scoops oats 2scoops whey Midmorning10am 2bananas 50g Cashew Lunch (1pm) 3 Peppers, loads of spinach 1x Tin of Tuna (or mackerel) 2x dollops of low fat mayo NO butter ;) Mid afternoon 3-4ish 2bananas Dinner 6-7 A whole pack of broccoli 266g lean mince Homemade sauce Post exercise 1scoop oats 2scoop whey Am I now missing too many carbs? My muscles feel a bit, empty? Didn't have a problem swimming 2k last night though!
