Advice needed! 19yo

Hi everyone, this is my first post as a new member.

I would just like some advice on how to pack on some pounds. i am naturally skinny, weighing just under 10 stone at 5ft 10in and nearing 20. the problem is no matter how much i eat i dont put wieght on. ive decided to start working out in an effort to 'bulk up' and i am doing 3-4 workouts a week. on top of this ( i dont know if these work ) i am taking whey protein supplements and creatine powder x2 daily. I have only been on this for a week, i feel different but that may just be psycological due to the fact i have actually not gained anything. i dont expect instant results i would just like feedback on what im doing wrong and what i can do in the future to help me...

thanks everyone for reading this post.

Hello mate, what you think is alot probably isn't,so post a typical day's nutrition,i'd imagine there is alot of room for improvement in choice and quantity.

Re: Advice needed! 19yo

ok here goes,

i didnt normally eat breakfast, big mistake i think so i have recently started.
  • breakfast, 2 wheatabix or 2 slices of toast
  • snack - bag of crisps or chocolate
  • dinner- something like a cheese and ham sandwich, more crisps, chocolate. or occasionally mcdonalds or other fast food.
  • tea, curry and rice, pizza chips, sunday lunches...
  • snacks such as egg custards every now and again.
the main thing i eat, is pizza, every other day, bieng a i work part time at dominos pizza... student life... obviously what i have put here varies. from now on i will try to add a tin of tuna a day aswell as these supplements...

Re: Advice needed! 19yo

easy now mate welcome aboard when i started on here i was around 10st and diet was mcd's breakfast quick tesco lunch and typical pie and chips style dinner and snacking on all sorts of shelf life crap. i had no energy and never gained any weight but alway'sbeleived the old pie and chips wouldake me big (bull crap).
i am now waking up and having 2scoop whey 100g oats 1 egg yakult and 125ml milk as a shake
Breakfast 1 is four eggs and four slices of bread
breakfast 2 4 shredded wheat and 1 pint milk
lunch tuna and salad sarnie and fruit
dinner 2 chicken breasts spuds and veg or fish in home made sauce and pasta / rice or home made meatballs and pasta (anything clean and home made)
bowl of porridge with honey
(more eggs and toast if i am still peckish here)
and another shake with loads of peanut butter in it
and all the time i am snacking on flapjacks fruit and hand full of nuts here and there
i try to mix it up a bit day to day as am worried about it getting boring and me de railing but this combined with me training three day's a week i have never felt so good in all my life and am making noticable gains each week. love it read through the site put together a diet and let the boy's read through it and adjust it if they need to and stick to it mate. get down the gym and push hard. and you will notice your body changing pretty quick. the boy's know their stuff and i am gratefull for their help and am learning everyday.
