Hard fatty lumps on obliques

Hello All,

I have been on a cut for around 3 weeks now which is going well.

I have noticed when i pull the skin tight around obliques i can see fatty lumps which looks like a bad case of cellulite.

I noticed these while checking how much fat o could pinch. They are hard to touch and squeeze also.

What could these be?

Also any advice for getting rid of them?

Cheers

Colin

I had what you had quite badly but that was while I was drinking quite a bit of wine each day and eating a lot of crap food. I worked hard at the gym and after about 6 weeks it went. I'm not sure what your diets like. One thing which I think did help get rid of them was massaging the skin after a bath or shower. Rub some body lotion into the areas and hopfully they'll go away.

Well that would explain it then as i drank heavy and eat absolute crap for about 7 years!

Have diet nailed now and given up booze since before christmas so should go in time then. I will try massage also to help break them down.

Cheers

Re: Hard fatty lumps on obliques

Could be lipoma. I have this, totally harmless benign tumor of fatty deposits. I have them all over and don't present as I'm about 23% BF. I've had two cut out, the 1st to verify that it was lipoma and the 2nd on my forearm simply as it was growing and becoming visible.

From everything I've read and been told, there's nothing you can do to stop them apperaing but as they're not visible on most people (most people aren't <10% BF) then they don't present a problem.

Re: Hard fatty lumps on obliques

cheers mate,

It seems to be reducing quite a lot now so i am guessing it's just harder lumps of fat that will burn off.
