Cardio and recovery?

basically ive been bodybuilding for about a year, and am extremely happy with the results
now its time to loose the body fat around the stomoch and the tiities!

i was thinking about doing cardio every evening and sometimes in the morning as well?
but my question is will this effect my muscle mass, because i got told say if you did a heavy work out on tuesday, and then did heavy cardio on wednesday your body has had no time to recover from the workout?

so should i do cardio every evening or just the days ive been to the gym?

Re: Cardio and recovery?

recovery happens more when you are at rest so as long as you are getting the correct nutrition and rest recovery will not be effected...
