Re: 38yrs old need advice

Get your training right for a start, bit of cardio (not too much, its gay after all) and sort your diet out. We can talk drugs after a good couple of months of this.

Drugs at this point is a bit like trying to peddle when you're already cycling downhill.

I disagree with your comment on cardio. Diet of course is crucial. As is rest. But yes, get a training route set up, but dont dismiss cardio.

why are you blaming it on your age.... your gonna have to completely
change your diet if you wanna lose 10 inches of your waist, and its gonna take time mate, and your defo gonna have to do some gay cardio, lots of it, i doubt you will still have 17 inch arms at the end because of the fat loss, but once you lose the fat then you can start to build em up with muscle , and your thighs at 21" need some bulking up,
do leg presses,squats, good luck

Hi,

Im also 38 years old ,5ft-11" weighing 18st and just started back two weeks ago after being away from bodybuilding ten years.Like you i put on alot of weight and ate wrong etc.In the two weeks i have started i have lost 7lbs.I train 20 mins cardio then go on to lifting weights three times weekly. Each night in the house i would do 4 sets of crunches and try and do a brisk walk when i can.My diet has changed greatly as without a decent diet the weight wont come off.Take things slowly and dont change too many things at once and in no time you will be feeling alot fitter and never look back.At 38 your only a young pup and you have taken the first step by changing your lifestyle so its all good from here on.Keep us posted how your getting on mate.

Lowish weight high reps are a waste of time.

Do heavy weights for low reps, bit of cardio and watch the pies - it'll all come together if you do that.

Ignore me at your peril....:lift:
