![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Treadmill When doing low intensity cardio to burn fat on the treadmill, for example what i do. 30 mins, incline 5 and speed 7.5, should i keep hold of the heart rate moniter or just walk without holding onto anything ? If this is the case, i will have to lower 7.5 as it will be to fast to walk without holding on. |

Dont know wether to trust the treadmill. |

More then 2 bps is very high isnt it. I felt my heart and it just felt like my resting heart rate. So all in all, i wouldnt go off the treadmill. |

![]() | Re: Treadmill Ideally you would want to be at around 65% of your max heart rate for fat burning. A 4-5mph walk on the treadmill will suffice with an incline of 5, like you had it at before. Do this for 45 mins a day and you'll be able to sustain it. |

The incline doesnt seem to have an effect, going to have to experiment. When i did speed 6 for example, i doubt my heart rate went over 100 bpm. |
