I am 5'10" tall 103KG and 20%BF measured at gym with callipers 32 years old. I have attached a couple of pics just to show stage I am at (Dont give me too much grief) Main reason for cutting is to see whats underneath all that blubber. I have seen the diet suggested in the sticky by pscarb i think. Is that suitable diet to follow? I would like some reasonably fast results(wouldn't we all) as it will help motivate me to stick to it. So i was going to follow very low carb and high protein with a carb up hour once a week. What amount of carbs should i limit to a day? I love carbs:( I was looking to cut to around 12-14% as much lower will be counter productive considering I am years away from competing. I am now following a low carb diet. Taking in around 250g protein from chicken and eggs with a shake and a low carb protein bar. Taking in around 200g carbs from oat cereal, wholemeal rice and bread. Probably around 80g of fat from sources such as almonds mixed nuts and seeds. I have split eating into approx 6 servings every 2.5 - 3hours. How does this sound? I will keep on eye on measurements and weight and see how it progresses. I have eca to hand but will leave alone at the moment as i guess at least 5% should be easy to shift at my BF. cheers colin |

Try your diet out for 2 weeks, if your not looing weight, up the cardio and/or reduce the total amount of cals. If your loosing to much weight after 3-4 weeks, (youll most probably loose alot of water in the first 2-3 weeks) up the amount of cals your eating as your probably burning muscle aswell as fat. Sam |

Will take a trip to Wickes then off to the gym:lift: I took my carb up cheat meal last night. (large pizza hut) Back to it today though. I will get BF tested at gym today so I can track change.
