Losing Fat

Hey Guys,

I've never really researched much into cutting and fat loss, as I have always been rather lean, and have spent my time looking into bulking.

However, am I correct in assuming that once I have finished my bulk, if I change my routine up, do some cardio, and obviously change my diet, I will cut fat? It sounds easy put like that, and it's probably not, but I'm adding some fat with my bulk and I'm not too sure if I should be worried about it?

Re: Losing Fat

how clean is your bulk mate, when i bulk i use a very clean approach, makes it easier and barely put any fat on... then again i do 3 to 4 45min cardio each week, just up your cardio mate and keep eating what your eating(thats if it is clean food) and it will keep the fat build up to a minimum

Re: Losing Fat

I would consider it to be very clean Gym Rat, check it out here

http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/gaining-w...king-diet.html

The only cardio I get at the minute is 45 minutes of 5 a side each week. I have left it out as I'm bulking, and simply thought that once my bulk is over, I would be able to drop any fat that I have gained?

Re: Losing Fat

a brisk 45 minute walk will burn calories from stored fat, if you up the work rate you will burn calories from food, stick to the walk 3 times a week, thats my cardio, and i tend to stay quite lean while gaining muscle, also mate, id use a meal replacement instead of the peanut butter sandwich then put the peanut butter in a shake instead, what iv been doing recently is putting it in my oats, makes the bland taste abit more bareable

Re: Losing Fat

Okay, so if I add in a couple of cardio days, in which I just simply walk, that will do me some good for now.

I have some ultra fine oats, so maybe add a third shake into my day, in which I throw some oats in there? And then have say 25G PB in my morning shake for the fats and extra cals?

Or perhaps as I have done today, eat two home made burgers instead, 185 cals, 20 pro and 10 fat?

Re: Losing Fat

yeah mate the walk will do wonders for keeping fat down

Re: Losing Fat

Okay Cheers Gym Rat.

May I ask what your routine looks like when you bulk?

I'm currently training 4 days a week, would I do cardio on the 3 off days or after a workout?

Also, what are your stats?

I have some pictures up in the members section if you want to check them out.
