diet suggestions (newbie)

hi all, i'm 5'10 and currently around 12 stone, after some ill health last year i'm getting back into going to be gym and training, but am suffering some problems with loosing fat i acquired during my period of bad health.
i have found it fairly easy to bulk, and am gradually working my way back up to the weights i was doing previously. i've never been in a postion where i've had to loose weight before so am not sure where to go next.
my aim is to improve the definition around my arms, chest and stomach (whilst continuing to bulk)
i am assuming from what i've read that i need to cut down my carb consumption. can anyone suggest a diet plan, or are there any supplements that could help? i've noticed a few "fat stripper" products on the market?

Re: diet suggestions (newbie)

you can't bulk and cut at the same time. You could 'clean bulk' which means being very exact and precise with your diet and tracking to only put on muscle without too much excess fat. Either do one or the other.. cutting down carbs won't help building muscle but you could try as you are getting back into training after a year off and see what quick gains you will make from this bounce back period.

Fat strippers generally just pump caffeine into you and keep hunger at bay, not much to them
