what do you think of my diet!?

This is a similar diet to what i did last year only i have changed the fat sources from primerily UDO's oil to fish oil caps/olive oil/egg yolk as its cheaper. protein source may vary i.e the eggs may change to steak every so often and chicken to tuna.

7:30 WAKE 30 mins cardio low intensity cardio on bike (this will increase if i feel it needs to)

8:15 bowl of oats
40g whey
1 bannana
5g fish oil caps
1000mg vit c
1 multi vit
800iu vit E

11:15 - lots of broccoli or leafy salad
1 large chicken breast
1 tblspn flavoured olive oil

14:00 - 40g whey
10g fish oil caps

16:30 - lots of broccoli or leafy salad
1 large chicken breast
1 tblspn flavoured olive oil

19:00 - PWO 50g whey
50g glucose

20:00 - PPWO 50g basmati rice
1 large chicken breast
small amount of veg

22:30 - 4 whole eggs + 2 egg whites or 5 whole eggs?!

i will be running 60-80mg tbol ED for 6-8 weeks (to prevent catabolism) and cycling clen 2 weeks on 2 weeks off!

What do people think?

Thanks.

Re: what do you think of my diet!?

after reading PScarbs sticky about timed carb diets i think im gonna give that a try so i will cut carbs at breakfast and up the fats!

i have a couple of questions tho!

1. PWO do carbs and protein need to be consumed seperate? carbs then protein 10 mins later?!

2. can you have the 2 carb up days any days of the week?

thanks.

1. No

2. Yes a 'high' carb day and a re-feed (usually at the weekend) remember you may have to alter the amounts of fat/protein in your diet to accommodate the extra carbs. Don't worry too much if you go over your calorie figure a little but remember it's not an excuse to binge!

Re: what do you think of my diet!?

okay thanks jock!

i train mon/tues thurs/fri so wed/sat/sunday off

i was thinking sat nite cheat meal (go for meal with the mrs) then sunday no carb and wed no carb then one training day maybe monday carb up!

how does that sound?

Could i maybe add some cheese to my breakfast on no/low carb days? e.g 3 whole eggs half tin tuna (in brine) and a smallish amount of greated cheese as this would make an omlette alot more apertising!

what do you think?

thanks again!

Re: what do you think of my diet!?

Personally I'd drop the olive oil in your pre-workout meal (you want this meal relatively fat free so it doesn't hinder protein absortption. Same with PWO)

Then have whole eggs in the last meal so your still getting your fats - just in a different meal.
