Rowing?

Are the rowling machines afftecive at burning fat?? Ive not got much fat on me but what i do have i want rid of!! I run 1.2 miles per day on the running machine in under 10mins then row over 3,500 meters on a rowing machine after, usually hovering around the 20 min mark

Am i on the right track?

ps my diet is extremly healthy

Re: Rowing?

yeah rowers will do the job... i do cardio before my weights so if its back day i'll go on the rower before i do the weights... if i do legs i'll do the stepper or the bike... etc etc.... mix it up... as the body needs to be constantly challenged to make it change.

the real key is diet.. so if your sorted with that then the rest will follow in time!

Re: Rowing?

rowing and xtrainer are very effective at fatburning and for the cardiovascular system as you work your arms and legs at the same time. So you stay challenged - check your time on the rower and try to beat it each time you row.
I tend to do my cardio after weights so that my strength is not compensated from doing cardio first.

Re: Rowing?

When i do my cardio i usually go on the running machine first, do my weights and finish off on the rower. Im not sure if thats teh best option? One day a week though i do just do cardio. As wierd as it is to say i do enjoy doing it aswell

Re: Rowing?

So a question to the people who regularly do running and rowing. Have you got good results? If so, how long did it take??
