Carb/Protein/Fat ratio

Im just in beginning stages of a diet to strip down some fat. Really determined to stick to it and have given myself plenty of time to reach my goal.

Im 105kg with 19% bodyfat according to the little gizmo in the gym. I always thought I was a lot lower than this but I must admit while I dont hold a lot of fat at the front of my stomach I do around the sides and lower back.

Im limiting myself to 3000 calories and writing down everything I eat and doing the totals.

Using a ratio of 42% protein 37% Carbs 21% Fats

I dont think I can do a keto diet because my concentration would suffer too much at work. So Im just trying to reduce the carbs.

So after all that waffle, Im wondering if the ratio Im using is ideal or if there is a better way.

Any replies will be appreciated.
