oaklad is on a distinguished road
which way to diet???

have ben doing research for months on diet for cutting weight and nearly every time i make my mind up i find something else that says its a bad way to do it.
i just wondered which way people use in order to lose bodyfat?
carb cycling,keto diet, or jus clean up diet stick to kcal level all way altering cv?
sorry if this is a dumb question just looking to start something soon

Re: which way to diet???

There is a lot of conflicting advice out there and it is easy to get confused so remember the basic principles of dieting.

Diet + Cardio.

I think a simple 50% Protein/30% Carbs/20% Fat ratio is a good way to get a starting point.

For example:

If you eat 2400kcals (eg 500cals below maintnence) whilst cutting on the above ratio you would be eating:

300g of Protein per day (4g per kcal)
180g of Carbs per day (4g per kcal)
53g of Fat per day (9g per kcal)

You can play about with the amounts to suit your needs but essentially remember that you need to find what works for YOU.
