Re: lose weight

hey im 15, but iv noticed the layer of fat your talking about is what i had
it goes over time, but i noticed best thing to do is jog as soon as u wake up, and if u cant do that, do ur cardio after weights, helps to burn fat, as ur muscles use up the glycogen
and for snacks well protien bars are always good but whats more convenient is having "small meal" snacks, a bit of chicken with potatoe...
6-8 meals a day, but small ones u burn more fat naturally
go on bodybuilding.com go to the teen section, it helps alot if u scout around, u can find diets and training programs good luck

Re: lose weight

TBH at 14 i say:

have a rough appreciation of quality food
keep active
dont get serious
enjoy life

strict dieting at this age and unsustainable training regimes/lifestyle will be counter productive

keep food intake even, keep it clean and keep active

i have written a teen protocol over on another site

i am very much against strict approaches at this age and do not suggest supplements

do not do empty stomach cardio
do not have a high protein low fat diet
do not plan every meal
use sugary and fast food options as weekly treats, not your staple

go to the gym
do not have a crazy regime
have some appreciation of quality exercises
partake in school sports
enjoy your friends
do not base your life on the expectations of others
try not to be influenced by the media
do not read media diet based magazines

thats from experience and logic aswell as working in the industry

IMO no 14 year old should be 'low carbing' and spending money on sups and worrying

this is not positive for future mindset
