But, I will reach a weight soon that I dont want to go below but my body fat % is still high around the 20% ! all this fat is around my lower abs, i'm just a bit frustraited... to get my weight down to a fairly low weight.. 11st 7lbs and still be at 20% fat! I dont wanna diet down much further as I'll be like skeletor! but i do want to lose the excess fat! ? I cant do any cardo as i messed up my foot so need some help to work out what i'm gonna do? My target is to tone up and reduce fat...not to bulk. Thanks anyone. Last edited by Bulk1; 20-06-2007 at 09:47 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Advice on weight loss..... what to do next? I have calipers but i dont find them easy to use and now i cant find them, so I bought some electronic scales that give a digital reading of body fat % and I can still grad 2" of fat about my lower abs. I am going to try swimming soon as some cardio. |

![]() | Re: Advice on weight loss..... what to do next? dont pay a huge amount of notice to body fat scales or calipers to be honest, use the mirror as a judgement. Body fat scales are renound for being inaccurate depending on the time of day, what youve eaten etc but are useful to check a relative fall in fat over a longer period of time, i.e. if the bodyfat scales said 25% a couple of months ago and now they say 20% then you are losing fat but the actual percentages themselves may be way out. I also think a lot of people overestimate the amount of lean body mass they actually have and surprised how 'light' they have to go and get any definition. A 15 stone guy with 25% bf has to get down to 12 stone to achieve 10% bf which might seem like a huge amount of actual weight loss. |
